Ontic's Creedmoor, NC, site is home to a number of specialist companies within the Ontic Group, including Firstmark, Twin Commander, and Metro Merlin. With over 1,300 employees across four time zones and seven sites, we have more than doubled in size since 2019 and are continuing to grow at pace.

Our team is looking for an Electro-Mech OEM Assembler to join us. You will report to the Production Cell Leader and will have an onsite work structure in Creedmoor, North Carolina.

Schedule (2nd Shift): Monday - Thursday, 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM (10-hour shifts). Overtime as needed. (5% Shift Differential)

To be considered for the Electro-Mech OEM Assembler opening, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Experience in the aerospace industry is preferred
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Knowledgeable of mechanical hand tools and basic computer skills.
  • Tig weld and Resistance weld exp a plus.

As a Electro-Mech OEM Assembler, you will:

  • Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing basic to intermediate level complexity mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic sub/top assemblies.
  • Ensuring compliance with all requirements relating to quality, safety, workmanship, functionality, performance, regulatory, and customer requirements.
  • You will follow and comply with documented work instructions, blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, customer requirements, or other approved technical data in hard copy and electronic formats as needed to accomplish required tasks.
  • Ability to understand and use basic mechanical and electronic measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators and scales.
  • Able to perform cleaning, basic soldering, winding, safety wire, wire crimp, marking, etching, and varnishing processes.
  • Comply with chemical Safety Data Sheet (SDS) guidelines, safety guidelines, and procedures.
