Pertemps is recruiting for Electoral Registration Field Officers!

We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our client's Administration Team, helping ensure residents are correctly registered to vote.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, meeting members of the public, and delivering excellent customer service. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Visit households that have not returned their electoral registration forms. Encourage residents to register online or complete their electoral registration forms. Provide guidance on completing registration forms. Collect completed forms and return them to the Administration Team. Maintain accurate records of all visits and outcomes. Handle confidential personal information in line with Data Protection legislation. Attend training sessions and undertake general administrative duties when required. What We're Looking For

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and manage your own workload. Strong organisational and record-keeping skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions and meet deadlines. Customer-focused with a professional and diplomatic approach. Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. Minimum of four Standard Grades (or equivalent), including English and Maths. Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Desirable Skills

Frontline customer service experience. Experience within local government or the public sector. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Understanding of electoral registration processes. Ability to speak a second language. SNC in Business Studies or equivalent.
