Supervises maintenance department personnel, assigns work, schedules leave, evaluates performance, provides technical and safety training, Performs contractor research and writes reports as required. Assist in strategic planning of plant maintenance department. Interacts with the Fire Marshall and the Company's insurance carrier. Electrical system maintenance. Conducts Maintenance Staff meetings and department safely meetings. Supports MRO and ISO Teams. 4.0Qualifications: Capable of reading, writing and speaking English. Possess functional knowledge of mechanical repair/maintenance on molding machines and auxiliary equipment with six (6) years minimum practical application. Capable of assigning, scheduling, and supervising the maintenance and repair of molding machines, auxiliary equipment and building. Capable of motivating and training others. Possess person computer skills, including JDE. Knowledge of tools, procedures, technical skills and safely rules used in the maintenance and repair of equipment and building. Capable of working extended workdays and weekends as required. Office environment: temperature range from 65 degrees to 85 degrees, depending on the season. One to two hour intervals of sitting in a back supported chair doing paperwork, having telephone conversations, and attending meetings.
