Job Summary
The Building Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of building maintenance operations across Heavenly Ski Resort. This role oversees Heavenly maintenance teams and Heavenly Sign Shop, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality upkeep of all resort buildings and infrastructure, asset protection, and guest and employee experience. The position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and cross-departmental collaboration to support resort operations and guest experience. Regional Maintenance Manager of Heavenly/Kirkwood. Leading the Heavenly Maintenance crew resort team requires strong business acumen, strategic planning, and advanced leadership skills. Starting Wage: $79,745 - $97,895 + annual bonus Shift Type: Full Time hours available Housing Availability: Lead and support maintenance teams and vendors across Heavenly Mountain Resort Ensure timely and effective maintenance of all mountain resort buildings and assets, including, but not limited to, lodges, restaurants, administrative offices, and employee housing. Oversee preventive maintenance programs, work orders, and emergency repairs Help develop and manage annual maintenance budgets, including, but not limited to, tracking, reporting, forecasting, planning, and accurate billing. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and life safety systems Oversight of water/sewer wells and vaults and its operation, manage contractor relationship for compliance and testing. Manage vendor relationships and coordinate contracted services in cooperation with the Sr Maintenance Manager. Plan and support capital projects, sustainability initiatives, and long-term planning Conduct regular inspections and audits, including but limited to, fire & life safety systems (fire systems, sprinklers systems, and alarm systems). Schedule and oversee all annual vendor preventative maintenance work 7+ years in building maintenance or facilities management (resort preferred) 4+ years in a leadership role managing teams or locations Strong technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural) Ability to work under tight timelines and deliver high-quality results Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites MS Office proficiency The expected pay range is $79,745 - $97,895 + annual bonus.
