Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience as a Principal Investigator (PI) on at least 5 industry-focused drug trials in medical oncology.
- Demonstrated history of publishing in peer-reviewed journals, with a focus on oncology research.
- Experience in securing and managing industry-funded research projects.
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines for clinical trials (e.g., FDA, ICH-GCP).
- Experience in mentoring junior researchers and medical staff.
- Experience in designing and implementing strategies for patient recruitment and retention in clinical trials.
- History of successful collaboration with other researchers, institutions, and industry partners.
- Strong background in designing, implementing, and overseeing clinical trials.
- Demonstrated success in writing and securing grants from industry and government sources.
- Strong skills in data analysis, biostatistics, and interpretation of research results.
- History of presenting research findings at conferences and meetings.
- Ability to adapt to new research methodologies and technologies.
- Innovative thinking to develop new research questions and approaches.
- Familiarity with electronic data capture systems and clinical trial management systems (CTMS).
