HR Generalist

to join our rapidly growing team. This position will work out of our Grand Rapids or Plainwell office (whichever is most convenient to the candidate) but serve all of our locations. The HR Generalist will oversee all HR functions across the state, lead recruiting efforts, and act as a recruiter when necessary. Laptop and other equipment ~ Cell phone reimbursement ~ Ability to work remote (as appropriate) ~ Maintain OSHA logs, manage worker's comp claims, and FMLA leave Gather company records as needed for project bids Set recruiting priorities, manage the recruiting budget, and act as recruiter when necessary Develop and implement HR processes, policies, and best practices Partner with leadership to drive talent retention and employee engagement Support new hire onboarding and orientation Track and analyze HR metrics to measure success and drive improvement Travel as needed to other Michigan locations to be a visible leader and resource to team members 3+ years of HR management or generalist experience ~2+ years of experience in recruiting ~ Valid Michigan driver's license and good driving record (some in-state travel required) ~ Knowledge of cleaning and restoration industry is a plus ~ HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) is a plus
