Machine Operator role on 1st shift (Mon–Thurs, 4x10) at GEODynamics (Oil States Industries) in Millsap, TX, supporting production operations with a focus on safety, quality checks, and equipment changeovers. Key Accountabilities:
- Follows all plant policies and practices to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost objectives are met.
- Performs various quality checks and assist in the cleaning and change-over of equipment.
- Maintains an accurate inventory through activities such as: proper reporting of material usage, minimizing waste, and ensuring that measuring devices are properly calibrated.
- Ensures good housekeeping of all work areas.
- Accurately complete all paperwork and/or data entry to support job tasks.
- Complies with all company policies.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills/Knowledge:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency.
- 0 - 2 years of experience working in production operations, some manufacturing experience preferred.
- Good attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely perform related physical demands of the role
- Bending, lifting, stooping, and standing greater than 50% of the time
- Repetitive motion demands
- Hands/wrist/shoulder.
- Ability to lift up-to 60 pounds as needed.
Work Environment/Environmental Conditions:
- Occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals, fumes, and gases
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
- Walking surfaces: Outdoor areas ramps and rough/uneven terrain
