Welding Technician Level 1 role supporting day-to-day welding-related activities and project work, including assisting with weld setup and equipment mobilization/demobilization. EDUCATION/SKILLS:
- Variety of welding skills as stated on the latest version of the ATS Welding Technician Training Chart
- Associates Degree in Welding Technology or two (2) years experience without degree
- ability to travel on short notice for extended periods
- self motivated with high level of initiative
- ability to work with minimal supervision
- problem solving skills
- written and verbal communication skills in English
RESPONSIBILITIES
- complete day to day activities of assigned areas and projects
- communication with all levels of management, engineering and clients
- tasks may include operation of cranes, forklift, general housekeeping, assisting with weld setup and equipment mobilization/demobilization
- meet assigned project timelines
- other duties as assigned
