Responsibilities

The Mammography Technician actively participates in the performance of specialized radiographic imaging procedures which assist the radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of medical disorders.

  • Perform specialized mammography imaging procedures
  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care
  • Support quality, safety, and regulatory initiatives
  • Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
2. Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by JRCERT.

3. Current ARRT certification.

4. Advanced certification in the field of Mammography.

5. Current experience as a radiology technologist.

6. Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.

7. Current BCLS (AHA) certification.

8. Comprehensive Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards.

9. Ability to travel to all imaging facilities both regularly and without notice.

10. Experience in Hospital Information Services (HIS)/Radiology Information System (RIS).

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $35.78 to $51.82 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
