As a MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING for John Deere Reman, located in Springfield, Missouri, you will plan, coordinate, and execute manufacturing and factory engineering work supporting Machining and Factory Automation. This role supports safe, high-quality, and efficient manufacturing processes while contributing to continuous improvement, layout development, tooling implementation, and standards development.

Collaborate closely with all teams to align safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Coordinate activities of subcontractors and suppliers. Design, validate, and implement tooling, fixtures, gauges, and production equipment to support new or revised products. Support factory layout development and material flow optimization to improve efficiency and ergonomics. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and apply lean manufacturing and change management principles. Execute assigned project tasks with accountability, managing scope, schedule, and quality within established guidelines. Support inspections and evaluations of engineering installations and recommend corrective actions as needed. Communicate project status, risks, and action plans effectively to stakeholders.

Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD and Creo. Working knowledge of project management fundamentals and cross-functional collaboration. Demonstrated ability to coordinate mid to large-scale projects with strict timelines. Proficiency with Microsoft tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. Strong understanding of machining, tooling, and manufacturing engineering principles.

Experience supporting tooling design, build, and implementation in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with factory layout development and material flow optimization. Experience applying lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience coordinating suppliers or contractors on engineering projects. Experience with Factory Automation Experience with CNC programming and/or macro programming on one or more machine controls

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Science, or Technology related discipline
