Concord Hospital’s Payson Center for Cancer Care is seeking two exceptional board-certified/board-eligible Medical Oncologists to play a pivotal role in developing a new medical oncology practice in Laconia, New Hampshire. This is a rare opportunity to help shape the future of cancer care in a community with a significant and increasing need for oncology services. Providers will collaborate clinically with closely-aligned independent community partners in Medical and Radiation Oncology, as well as Concord Hospital Medical Group surgical specialists to provide state-of-the oncology care in Central New Hampshire.

The Payson Center for Cancer Care is proudly accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer (CoC) as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center. Our program delivers fully integrated, multidisciplinary cancer care, bringing together medical, radiation, and surgical oncology alongside oncology-trained nurse navigators, social workers, and nutritionists; ensuring patients receive seamless, compassionate, and cutting-edge treatment close to home.

Position Highlights

  • Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in medical oncology and hematology, including evaluation, treatment planning, and longitudinal follow-up.
  • Collaborate closely with a highly engaged multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, patient-centered cancer care.
  • Actively participate in weekly multidisciplinary tumor boards and Cancer Committee initiatives.
  • Contribute to program growth, quality improvement, and service line development within a respected Cancer Center.
  • Engage in clinical trials and help advance innovative oncology care.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to clinical excellence, professional growth, and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited school of medicine
  • Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology

  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient-care skills
