Position Overview

Pay range: $27.00 - $43.10 / hour

Shifts: Days: 7am-3:30pm, Evening : 3:00pm-11:30pm, Night: 11:00pm-7:30am, Weekend Baylor, Flexi/PRN

Job Description

Under the direction of a Radiologist and the Imaging Manager, to perform radiological procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. To perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. To assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. May be assigned duties as an interim supervisor or instructor.

Qualifications

Graduate from a Radiography program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. Currently registered as a Registered Technologist (R.T.(ARRT)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR registered within one (1) year from date of hire for a new graduate required. If certification is not obtained within one year, an additional period of up to one hundred and eighty (180) days may be allowed.
