A building services company with over 40 years trading, are currently seeking a service coordinator/ Labour Controller to work in their busy office in Hainault.

Salary package:

£35/40k basic salary 08.30 to 17.30 office based 28 days holiday Laptop & Mobile Phone

My Client is currently seeking a Labour controller. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administration support to the contracts manager, ensuring customer and office enquiries are dealt with efficiently and effectively.

To function as the initial contact with our clients, to accept their order for works and enter the order onto our works management system. The Labour controller will provide assistance to the daily workings of our contracts manager and team of engineers covering Planned and reactive Maintenance to a dedicated account and ensuring the Client requirements are met.

Job Specification

To review reactive tasks received during the working day and raise on our in-house system. Candidates will be asked to take part in a call out rota to support the OOH teams which is currently 1 in 6. Taking incoming telephone calls to assist with Client requests and Updates. To review outstanding jobs with reference to specified response times, evaluating the nature and importance of the instructions, ensuring that calls are responded to with reference to both the importance of the works and the contractual response times. Assign work to engineers on our in-house system and Client Portals Where necessary allocating specialist sub-contractors, giving response, completion and access details, and other relevant information, to ensure compliance with Client requirements. When liaising with sub-contractors – it is essential to link in and involve the Contract Manager to ensure the best sub-contractor is procured. Booking works in with clients directly and following procedures Arranging/submitting permits to work at relevant sites RAMS. This includes the engineer timesheets to make sure they are accurate and reflective of the work allocated and the work completed. To record any site-specific information received, and to ensure that any relevant details already held are reviewed and acted upon when allocating jobs. Recording notes on both eh client system (Planon / Concerto) as well as the job logic system

. Ordering of materials and monitoring until proof of delivery are obtained. Liaison with head office procurement team on all orders and ensuring the correct job number is allocated to all materials ordered.

Knowledge and Experience

(Essential)

The ability to plan and prioritise, resolve issues, and meet targets and deadlines. Good written and spoken communication skills. A good collaborator with the ability to demonstrate excellent customer care skills. Good IT skills excel and including experience with CAFM. The ability to work as part of the team to get works allocated, delivered and to high standards. To be open and honest with all communications within the team, with the client and the various UoP personnel and with sub-contractors involved to deliver services. To prepare, to forward plan and ensure all up to date information is handed over to everyone involved that will assist service delivery.
