Machine Operator role running semi-automatic/automatic numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools to support production at Trelleborg in Giddings, TX. You’ll monitor runs for part conformance, may operate multiple machines, and cross-train as needed. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operates semi-automatic or automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are provided, and setups are often made and maintained by others.
- Oversees machine operation throughout the production run to ensure part conformance.
- May be required to run more than one machine simultaneously per standard work.
- Cross trains in other areas as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
This position requires a High School Diploma or GED. Previous CNC experience is a plus but NOT required!
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in English; both written and verbal
- Must have a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment
This position is located in a manufacturing facility which requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, squatting, twisting, bending, and reaching throughout an entire shift. Must be able to move and handle varying sized products.
