Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the operations team supporting plant efficiency and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location
Evansville, INPay Range: Starting at $20/hr based on experience
Shift: 1st shift 7am-3:30pm and 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm
What's the Job?
- Repair and maintain all plant machinery and equipment such as mixers, production equipment, etc.
- Adjust and replace parts in machines or equipment to ensure optimal operation
- Inspect all machinery and equipment regularly for potential issues
- Order parts for machinery and equipment as needed
- Fabricate new equipment when necessary and install new machinery or equipment
What's Needed?
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machinery problems efficiently
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety protocols
- Experience with total productive maintenance (TPM) tasks
- Understanding of lockout-tagout procedures and emergency response actions
- Willingness to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with team members
- HVAC and Forklift Maintenance
