Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures (X‑ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures) per department protocols Serves as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring quality service and care Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities Assists with maintaining the department Performance Improvement Program Oversees radiology operations and/or staff in the absence of the Manager/Director Maintains department supplies, equipment, and assigned sub‑department inventory Supports scheduling for assigned sub‑departments Promotes teamwork and excellent customer service Processes and transmits images to PACS

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1.

Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State. 2.

Effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in

two modalities required. 3.

Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current. 4.

Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations. 5.

One year of Acute Clinical Radiography

required. 6.

Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT. 7.
