Receiving Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Receiving Clerk to oversee incoming shipments, maintain accurate inventory records, and support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and clerical skills, experience with inventory management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy in all receiving and shipping activities.

Stone Mountain, GA
Shift: 1st Shift – 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM start time; end time between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM (start and end times may vary based on business needs)
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and damage.

  • Accurately document and process received goods in the warehouse management system (WMS).

  • Generate, maintain, and distribute receiving reports and shipment documentation.

  • Coordinate with vendors, carriers, customers, and internal departments to ensure timely receipt and delivery of products.

  • Organize, label, and properly store incoming inventory in designated warehouse locations.

  • Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods.

  • Assist with order picking, packing, shipping, and other warehouse duties as needed.

  • Perform regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities.

  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory transactions, and warehouse activities.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Physical forklift certification is a MUST.

  • Previous warehouse receiving, inventory control, or shipping/receiving experience required.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

  • Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite, experience is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Basic math and data-entry skills required.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
