Manufacturing/Finishing Associate – 1st Shift

We are hiring a reliable Manufacturing / Finishing Associate to support assembly, finishing, and production operations in a hands‑on manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mechanical Assembly — Assemble mechanical units to close tolerances.
  • Tool Use — Work with hand and power tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, cutters, nut drivers).
  • Prototype Support — Assist with engineering prototype builds and document needed changes.
  • Material Handling — Load/unload materials using carts, forklifts, cranes, or jibs (if trained).
  • Finishing Work — Prepare surfaces and apply paints, lacquers, or enamels.
  • Paint Line Tasks — Hang and remove parts from paint lines.
  • Blueprint Access — Scan work orders and serial tags to access blueprints.
  • General Production — Maintain a clean work area and perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Up to 1 year of manufacturing experience (or equivalent)
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
  • Willingness to learn, cross‑train, and work in multiple departments
  • Strong attention to detail

Physical Requirements

  • Manual Dexterity — Moderate physical exertion and hand‑tool use
  • Material Movement — Ability to lift, position, and move materials
  • Safety Compliance — PPE required; occasional exposure to industrial hazards
