Manufacturing/Finishing Associate – 1st Shift
We are hiring a reliable Manufacturing / Finishing Associate to support assembly, finishing, and production operations in a hands‑on manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical Assembly — Assemble mechanical units to close tolerances.
- Tool Use — Work with hand and power tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, cutters, nut drivers).
- Prototype Support — Assist with engineering prototype builds and document needed changes.
- Material Handling — Load/unload materials using carts, forklifts, cranes, or jibs (if trained).
- Finishing Work — Prepare surfaces and apply paints, lacquers, or enamels.
- Paint Line Tasks — Hang and remove parts from paint lines.
- Blueprint Access — Scan work orders and serial tags to access blueprints.
- General Production — Maintain a clean work area and perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Up to 1 year of manufacturing experience (or equivalent)
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
- Willingness to learn, cross‑train, and work in multiple departments
- Strong attention to detail
Physical Requirements
- Manual Dexterity — Moderate physical exertion and hand‑tool use
- Material Movement — Ability to lift, position, and move materials
- Safety Compliance — PPE required; occasional exposure to industrial hazards
