Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the Shipping Department supporting the warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Location

Minneapolis, MN

Pay Rate: $21.93/hour

Position Type: 5-Month Contract (Short-Term)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

What's the Job?

  • Safely navigate the shipping yard and operate forklifts as needed
  • Build partial pallets and assist with loading trailers
  • Check-in trucks and manage shipping documentation using SAP
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including PPE usage

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED Completion
  • Experience in Manufacturing preferred, not required
  • Experience with Forklifts preferred, not required
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Physical ability to lift between 50 to 80 pounds repeatedly
  • Comfort with repetitive movements and exposure to temperature extremes
  • Willingness to learn and adapt within a manufacturing environment
