Our client, a leading organization in food product development and testing, is seeking a Temporary R&D Technician to join their team. As a R&D Technician, you will be part of the Research & Development department supporting Food Technologists. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Temporary R&D Technician

Location

Motley, MN

Pay Range: $20-$24/hour depending on experience.

Shift: 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

  • Support lab experiments, testing new ingredients, and developing product concepts based on project needs.
  • Prepare samples of new products for internal and external evaluation following Food Technologists' guidelines.
  • Operate basic and specialized food laboratory/kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
  • Record and compile testing data, ingredient performance charts, and upload records into the database.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all utensils, dishes, and surfaces are sanitized after use.

What's Needed?

  • Associates degree in food science, biology, chemistry, or a related field.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Strong reading, speaking, writing, and understanding skills in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and operational standards diligently.
